The Kids Are Alright...

Spawning arguably R*E*P*E*A*T's most successful release, The Hammers were 'spotted' (aged 9-10) by Rosey when they played a talent show at the primary school where he was working. This was quickly followed by a recording session at a local community centre, a live appearance in front of millions of viewers on Blue Peter, a quickly sold out CD and gigs at Strawberry Fair, The Junction and local football stadiums and schools.
The second track here 'Electric Chair' was later included on the 5 Track Wonder CD. Its acutely intelligent lyrics (inspired by a history lesson on capital punishment) may have lead to the band's eventual demise as some parents did not approve.
Vocalist Jordan has since played in Pilots of the Sixth and Hyman Roth, as well as making numerous spine chilling solo appearances.
Guitarist Matt is a professional BMX rider.
Brothers Mick and Dan (bass and drums) have since been spotted in various local bands.
